Afgelopen vrijdag, 26 maart is onze Ruud van der Wel geridderd! Hij heeft niet zomaar een onderscheiding gekregen maar de hoogste die je als burger kunt krijgen. Hij is nu Officier in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau.
Natuurlijk zijn wij hier enorm trots op en vanzelfsprekend blijven wij ons inzetten om voor kinderen en volwassenen met een beperking zelfstandig te musiceren mogelijk te maken.
Christian has stolen the show on saturday the fourteenth of January 2o17 with his Magic flute, in Paul de Leeuw’s show. He played “Holding back the years” by Simply Red. What a performance! Christian is one of our ambassadors at My Breath My Music and has been helping us for years at exhibitions and workshops as a volunteer.
Talented people who think they can steal the show, are being challenged to show their what they’re capable of in the VARA-show “Wie steelt mijn show” by Paul de Leeuw.
‘Gaze interaction’ is a computer access method that enables those with disabilities to navigate and control a computer with their eyes, in the same way that an everyday computer user operates a mouse.
‘Eye play music’ is the name of our free software for the Windows PC.

Open the program. When you move your mouse pointer over any of the eight red spaces you will hear sound; you do not have to click to trigger a tone.
Within the program you can choose a different instrument, transpose notes and adjust the note length. Select “edit” to create your own scale. You can load and save your own scales and settings.

Extra functionality for Tobii Communicator software users
Lars Tiedemann from Tobii made a special Pageset for Communcator 5. The user can change volume, change instrument and change scale.
The user can ran this pageset from his Communicator Homescreen and it will automatically open Eye Play Music.The use of this Pageset has one restriction: The EyePlayMusic.exe has to be in the C:\EyePlayMusic folder.

The Communicator software runs on windows computers. The support is for Tobii Dynavox Eyetrackers.
Online Improvisation workshop

If you use the right scales in Eye Play Music with the play-along tracks for improvisation, in no time you’ll create music which can be very pleasant to listen to.
